Jefferson Community Health & Life
Jefferson Community Health & Life
Jefferson Community Health & Life while not the largest project, but possibly one of the most challenging. The facility was in need of upgrading and is completely landlocked. Nearly every department in the facility needed upgrading and in order to create some empty space to start work it was determined that a needed expansion to their long term care unit could create a temporary place for their administration department to move to. That then opened up space to start the eight major renovation phases as well as a few smaller phases to begin. This was originally scheduled to take 30 months to complete based upon the large number of phases required to maintain business as usual for the hospital. The project started with a 5,000SF 2-story addition to the Assisted Living area and work to the hospital will include 32,482SF of renovation space with 17 new state-of-the-art private patient rooms, new X-Ray, Lab, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Nursery, LDR, Administrative offices, Mammography, Healing Garden, Lobby, Admitting Offices and Meeting Rooms. Included in the effort is a major overhaul of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This project was completed five months early and under budget.
