Construction of this 7-acre park included a Flag Plaza to honor our Nation’s Heroes and a large outdoor space with an open air pavilion, walking paths, picnic area, play areas, and covered benches.  The Flag Plaza incorporates four stations of memory tiles that include Smart Tags that can be scanned with a tablet or smart phone and the viewer is sent to a website with information about the veteran.  The open air pavilion provides a covered meeting space and is very visually pleasing as the roof forms the shape of a star.

Beckenhauer Construction received Project of the Year for Heroes Park from the Nebraska AGC Building Chapter for the Build Nebraska Awards.
