Today, July 13, the Norfolk YMCA project had a “topping out” party for area B (Weights & Cardio Area) which is the north portion of the new addition.  A “topping out” party signifies the last piece of steel has been placed for the structure.  We invited YMCA staff and board members along with subcontractors and suppliers.  We had everyone who attended sign the final beam before it was put in place.  We were happy to have a good turnout especially from Nucor who supplied all of the structural steel for the project.
