Successful Beyond Grant Projects:
Through the BCI Beyond Grant, we proudly supported Lucy’s impactful project to honor veterans. Thanks to her dedication, more than 160 veterans’ markers will be replaced or repaired, preserving the memory of those who served. As Lucy’s heartfelt words remind us, “Everybody out here is somebody’s dad or brother or grandma or grandpa. They’re somebody to somebody.” Her project touches countless lives, whether through personal connections to those who served or a shared respect for their sacrifices. We are honored to have contributed to this meaningful cause.
The BCI Beyond Grant proudly partnered with the Battle Creek Heritage Park Revitalization efforts to fund a beautiful new park bench! Located within a comfortable walking distance of the community’s senior living facility, Heritage Park now offers an inviting spot for visitors to “Take a Moment to Rest” and enjoy the park’s natural beauty.
Welcoming a newborn is a joyous time for any family, but when baby Teigyn of Albion was born with a rare lung disorder, her parents, Skylar and Cabre Reynolds, were faced with fear and anxiety. Their lives took an unexpected turn as Teigyn began to experience breathing issues shortly after birth. Mason visited the Reynolds’ home to deliver a $500 check from our Employee Giving Funds to support the family. Mason shared, “They were very appreciative of our help and support!” Thank you, Mason, for being our messenger, and a special thanks to everyone who made this possible. Our presence in Albion continues to positively impact the lives of its residents!
