Beyond the numbers, the Beckenhauer staff took real interest in the purpose for which this project was designed in the community. Their site managers often made themselves available to congregational members to answer questions and receive feedback. This meant that congregational leaders, from paid staff to laity, never felt as much pressure from possible negative feedback because there was always a direct line to Beckenhauer. Their staff even worked with the teachers and kids of our day school to provide expanded enrichment opportunities, introducing them to the construction industry. It was like having an extra field trip right on our campus.
